ΔΑΙΔΑΛΑ // DAEDALA
Η εικαστική εγκατάσταση φωτογραφίας και γλυπτικής ‘Δαίδαλα’ παρουσιάστηκε στο Γυαλί Τζαμισί, στο Ενετικό Λιμάνι των Χανίων, το διάστημα 4-18 Νοεμβρίου 2021, στο πλαίσιο της δράσης ‘Ανοιχτά Πανιά’, με την υποστήριξη της ΚΕΠΠΕΔΗΧ ΚΑΜ και του Δήμου Χανίων.
Τα Δαίδαλα, σπαράγματα μιας μνήμης ιστορικής, μυθολογικής, εμπειρικής συνιστούν ένα αίνιγμα προς επίλυση, έναν νοητικό λαβύρινθο που προσκαλεί τον επισκέπτη σε μια περιπλάνηση και ενδοσκόπηση.

The photographic and sculpture installation 'Daedala' was presented at the Yiali Tzamisi, in the Venetian Harbour of Chania, Crete, between November 4-18, 2021, supported by Anoixta Pania, Keppedix-KAM and the Municipality of Chania.
Daedala, fragments of a mythological, historical and empirical memory, compose a riddle to be solved, a mental maze that invites the visitor to a wandering and introspection.

ΑΠΟ ΤΑ ΟΣΤΡΑΚΑ ΣΤΑ ΔΑΙΔΑΛΑ workshop
Παράλληλα, πραγματοποιήθηκαν δύο εργαστήρια για παιδιά, με την ΣΤ’ Τάξη του 2ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου και την Ε’ Τάξη του 7ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου. Τα εργαστήρια ‘Από τα Όστρακα στα Δαίδαλα’, έγιναν σε συνεργασία με την αρχαιολόγο Μαρία Ανδρεαδάκη-Βλαζάκη. Μέσα από δύο διαδοχικές ξεναγήσεις σε χώρο ανασκαφής στο λόφο Καστέλι και στην εγκατάσταση ‘Δαίδαλα’ στο Γυαλί Τζαμισί, τα παιδιά προσέγγισαν το έργο τέχνης, την έννοια του ευρήματος, τη σημασία των θραυσμάτων και της σύνθεσής τους. Τα έργα που δημιούργησαν, εκτέθηκαν στο χώρο ως το τέλος της έκθεσης.
FROM SHELLS TO DAEDALA
Parallel to the installation, two workshops for children were held, with the 6th Grade of the 2nd Primary School and the 5th Grade of the 7th Primary School. The workshops ‘From Shells to Daedala’ were held in collaboration with the archaeologist Maria Andreadaki-Vlazaki. Two guided tours took place, at an ongoing excavation site on Kastelli hill and at 'Daedala' exhibition, and children approached the work of art, the archaeological findings, the significance of the fragments and their composition. The artworks created by them, were exhibited at Yiali Tzamisi till the end of the exhibition.

Δύο εργαστήρια “Από τα Όστρακα στα Δαίδαλα”, ως παράλληλη δράση της εικαστικής εγκατάστασης ‘Δαίδαλα’ που πραγματοποιείται στο Γυαλί Τζαμί του παλιού λιμανιού των Χανίων 4-18 Νοεμβρίου 2021. Τα δύο εργαστήρια έγιναν σε συνεργασία με την ΣΤ’ τάξη του 2ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου και την Ε’ τάξη του 7ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου.
Στο εργαστήριο, προσεγγίσαμε το έργο τέχνης μέσα από την εισαγωγή στην έννοια του ευρήματος, της σημασίας των θραυσμάτων και της σύνθεσής τους. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό έγιναν δύο ξεναγήσεις, μια από την αρχαιολόγο Μαρία Ανδρεαδάκη-Βλαζάκη σε υπό εξέλιξη χώρο ανασκαφής στο λόφο Καστέλι, και μια από τους τρεις συντελεστές της έκθεσης 'Δαίδαλα' στο Γυαλί Τζαμί. Στο τέλος, τα παιδιά ζωγράφισαν κεραμικά θραύσματα τα οποία συνέθεσαν και αποκαλύφθηκε ένα μοτίβο εμπνευσμένο από τα έργα της έκθεσης και τα αρχαιολογικά ευρήματα. Τα δύο νέα έργα των παιδιών εκτίθενται στο χώρο μαζί με τα υπόλοιπα έργα, ως την λήξη της έκθεσης.Two workshops "From Shells to Daedala" were completed, as a parallel event to the art installation 'Daedala' that takes place in the Mosque of the old port of Chania (November 4-18, 2021). The two workshops were held in collaboration Primary Schools.
In the workshop, we approached the work of art through the introduction to arheological findings, the significance of the fragments and their composition. In this context, two guided tours took place, one by the archaeologist Maria Andreadaki-Vlazaki at an ongoing excavation site on Kastelli hill, and one by the three artists at the 'Daedala' exhibition. In the end, the children painted ceramic fragments as seen in the archeological findings. These fragments re-assembeled then revealed two patterns inspired by sculptures from the exhibition. The two new children's works are exhibited in the space along with the other works, until the end of the exhibition.
