Cette pompe à air est ce qui reste du vélo de mon grand-père. Je me souviens qu'il m'avait raconté comment il avait fait le trajet entre Haïfa à Beyrouth plusieurs fois en week-end pour rendre visite à son père mourant.
Il existait autrefois un Moyen-Orient sans frontières entre ses villes. J'ai toujours imaginé qu'un jour j'aurais pu faire ce voyage aller-retour!
This air pump is what's left of my grandpa's bike. I remember he told me how he's traveled from Haifa to Beirut several times on weekends to visit his dying father.
There used to be a Middle East without borders between its cities. I always imagined that one day I could have made this round trip!
