Après les premiers mois à Athènes, nous avons commencé à avoir ces longues conversations sur la façon dont on doit aimer sa «laide» ville, autrement toutes nos tentatives de la voir resteront à sa surface, se détacherons de son corps. Et aussi comment le « Chaos » résiste autant que nous lui résistions, car l’Homme se retrouve dans le « Chaos », et d’autres questions théoriques qui semblaient abstraites pour moi, jusqu’à ce matin, quand j’ai croisé ce gamin à la station Victoria: occupant Athènes avec son imagination!
After my first few months living in Athens, we started having those long conversations about how one has to love his “ugly” city, otherwise his effort shall remain on the surface and fall of its body, and how only by sinking in its chaos we abolish it… and other theoretical stuff that seemed abstract to me until that morning, when I crossed this kid at Victoria station: Occupying Athens with his imagination!

Μετά τους πρώτους μου μήνες στην Αθήνα, αρχίσαμε να κάνουμε με τον Αλέξανδρο εκείνες τις μακροσκελείς συζητήσεις για το πώς πρέπει κάποιος να αγαπήσει την «άσχημη» πόλη του, διαφορετικά η προσπάθειά μας θα παρέμενε στην επιφάνεια και πως μόνο μια καταβύθιση μέσα στο χάος της θα το καταργούσε.. και άλλα θεωρητικά πράγματα που μου φαίνονταν αφηρημένες έννοιες, μέχρι εκείνο το πρωί, όταν διασταυρώθηκα με αυτό το παιδί στον σταθμό Βικτωρίας, να καταλαμβάνει την Αθήνα με τη φαντασία του!
