dummy awards (Torino, Italy 2026)
Conceived as a pilgrimage toward crimes of passion, this project circles its boundaries without ever crossing them. Through the analysis of six homicides in Greece, the work explores the physical spaces that surround irrationality: archives, prisons, morgues, and courts become the landmarks of an inaccessible cosmos.
LA MAISON DE CAIN observes the architectures of control and punishment to give form to the tragic threshold that separates the individual from becoming Cain. It is an investigation in which geographical and judicial space becomes the tangible limit between normalcy and the abyss of evil.
Σχεδιασμένο ως ένα προσκύνημα προς το έγκλημα από πάθος, το έργο αυτό περιπλανιέται στα όριά του χωρίς ποτέ να τα υπερβαίνει. Μέσα από την ανάλυση έξι ανθρωποκτονιών στην Ελλάδα, το έργο διερευνά τους φυσικούς χώρους που περιβάλλουν την παραλογικότητα: αρχεία, φυλακές, νεκροτομεία και δικαστήρια γίνονται τα ορόσημα ενός απρόσιτου κόσμου.
Το LA MAISON DE CAIN παρατηρεί τις αρχιτεκτονικές του ελέγχου και της τιμωρίας για να δώσει μορφή στο τραγικό κατώφλι που χωρίζει το άτομο από το να γίνει Κάιν. Πρόκειται για μια έρευνα στην οποία ο γεωγραφικός και ο δικαστικός χώρος γίνονται το απτό όριο μεταξύ της κανονικότητας και της άβυσσου του κακού.
Conçu comme un pèlerinage vers les crimes passionnels, ce projet en contourne les limites sans jamais les franchir. À travers l’analyse de six homicides commis en Grèce, l’œuvre explore les espaces physiques qui entourent l’irrationalité : archives, prisons, morgues et tribunaux deviennent les repères d’un cosmos inaccessible.
LA MAISON DE CAIN observe les architectures du contrôle et de la punition pour donner forme au seuil tragique qui sépare l’individu du destin de Caïn. Il s’agit d’une enquête dans laquelle l’espace géographique et judiciaire devient la limite tangible entre la normalité et l’abîme du mal.
